After 3 flights Day 1, the organizers have released the official numbers for the WPT Cambodia Championship. With 175 entries for Flight A, 312 entries for Flight B, and 426 entries for Flight C, the total prize pool has soared to an impressive $1,040,592, doubling the initial guaranteed amount.
This marks the largest WPT event in Cambodia to date, boasting a seven-figure prize pool for a buy-in of around $1,000.
Day 2 of the WPT Cambodia Championship will commence with 136 players, with the money bubble set at 115. It won’t be long before players start cashing in. The minimum payout is $2,130, while the champion will take home a whopping $175,542, along with a $12,230 seat to the WPT World Championship Main Event in Las Vegas this December. The runner-up will also receive an additional $1,100 seat to a WPT Prime event, alongside a cash prize of $117,030.
Vietnamese players are in a strong position in the race to the Final Table. Pham Bao is leading the entire tournament with a massive 7.1 million chips. Other notable Vietnamese contenders include Nguyen Trung Ha with 2.9 million chips, Ho Tuan with 1.9 million chips, Nguyen Van Dan with 1.1 million chips, and Nguyen Thi Bao An also holding 1.1 million chips.
