#1 VPL KICK OFF EVENT
After three intense days of competition, the #1 Kick-off Event of the VPL Summer Series Hanoi 2024 crowned its champion.
The two-hour-long heads-up battle between Khayal Abbasov and Pham Tien Dung was filled with drama, featuring continuous back-and-forth exchanges between the two players. The deadlock only broke when Pham Tien Dung, holding Q4, called Khayal's all-in with K2, both players having an equal amount of chips. The 54527 board secured victory for Pham Tien Dung in the hand as well as a significant chip advantage.
With 95% of the chips in play, it was easy for Pham Tien Dung to secure victory, claiming the championship cup of the VPL Summer Series Hanoi 2024 Kick-off Event and a prize worth 818 million LP.
#8 MEGASTACK
The Megastack tournament of the VPL Summer Series Hanoi 2024 attracted 366 registrations, surpassing the initial 1.2 billion LP GTD with a total prize pool exceeding 2.1 billion LP. Vu Quang Hung had an outstanding day of competition, clinching the Megastack cup along with a 477 million LP prize.
#9 HIGH ROLLER SINGLE DAY
The High Roller arena saw a lively day of competition with 46 registrations from high-stakes players, pushing the total prize pool to 1.78 billion LP. The tournament will continue with the Final Table tomorrow, May 6.
