VPL Hanoi 2024 - The first tournament of the Vietnam Poker League brand has officially concluded after 11 days of competition. 34 prestigious cups have been awarded to the most deserving athletes of the series.

First and foremost, the Kick-off Event with its massive guaranteed prize pool created a buzz for VPL Hanoi 2024. With a whopping registration of 863 entries, the prize pool for the Kick-off tournament surpassed the GTD figure, reaching 3.3 billion LP. After 3 flights, 108 athletes advanced to the Final Day. Athlete BinBop claimed the Cup after defeating athlete Haru in a tense showdown lasting nearly 1 hour, with a prize of 690 million LP.

In addition, the High Roller tournament series was extremely lively, continuously surpassing the GTD multiple times. Especially in the Megastack High Roller tournament, champion Nguyễn Hữu Dũng received a prize of 1.45 billion LP compared to the initial 2 billion GTD. VPL also scored points with athletes by organizing an additional High Roller tournament on the third day of the tournament, increasing the total number of High Roller tournaments held during the series to 9.

Vietnamese athletes participating in the VPL Hanoi 2024 tournament also performed excellently, consistently making appearances in the final table and winning championship cups throughout the tournament. Especially, athlete Nguyễn Hữu Dũng, with outstanding performance, reached the final table 3 times and won one championship title.

And we cannot overlook the main event, VPL Main Event truly exploded in the final flights. After 4 Main Event flights, 778 registrations were recorded along with a prize pool of 15 billion LP, nearly doubling the initial 8 billion LP GTD. The Final Table saw the presence of 4 Vietnamese athletes and ultimately, with excellent performance, athlete Phạm Tiến Dũng lifted the most important Cup of VPL Hanoi 2024 with a prize of 3 billion LP.
