Mikalai Vaskaboinikau Wins the 2024 Triton Montenegro Main Event Trophy

The main event "Triton Poker Montenegro $125K" featured a thrilling final table that remained intense until the very last moments. The event attracted 171 entries, bringing the total prize pool to $21,375,000.

After three days of competition, Mikalai Vaskaboinikau emerged victorious, winning the top prize of $4,737,000 and the most prestigious trophy in this series at Montenegro.

In the heads-up battle, Mikalai needed only two hands to defeat the local contender Dejan Kaladjurdjevic. For Dejan, finishing second marks the best achievement in his poker career.

At Triton Montenegro, Mikalai had only played in two events, yet he achieved impressive results with a top 7 finish in the $50K NLH event and winning the main event. Known primarily as a businessman, Mikalai's main work isn't at the poker table. While he hasn't shared specifics about his business ventures, he mentioned that this prize “is not life-changing money.” Nonetheless, this victory is a source of great pride for him.
