Emerging as overall chip leader was Vietnamese pro Cao Ngoc Anh, the only player to bag up a million in chips. Anh delivered the bubble at Day 1B, calling a player’s three-bet shove to clean up with JJ over 66.
At Day 1C, Australia’s Zhifan Ye did the same, emerging as heat leader after knocking out a player on the bubble. Ye’s A10 found the ace to crush a short stack’s AQ. He bagged up overall 4th in chips following Day 1A leader Bien Mai in second rank and Le Ngoc Minh in third rank.
