With the registration fee for this flagship event set at approximately $25,000, the Super Star Challenge has reached a new level, surpassing the previous fee at APT Taipei 2023, which was approximately $10,000. The previous champion was John Tech, who claimed the TWD 3.4 million prize after triumphing over 33 registrations.
