Red Dragon Poker Tour to Heat Up Summer in Jeju, South Korea with KRW 1.68 Billion GTD (Approx. $1.2 Million)

The Red Dragon Poker Tour, a newly launched series on the international poker scene, is set to make waves this summer with thorough preparations. The tournament will be held at Landing Casino, Jeju Shinhwa World, a prestigious venue that has hosted many other series such as APT and Triton. The RDPT Jeju series will take place from July 26th to August 4th, featuring 36 trophy events, with the highlight being the RDPT Championship boasting a guaranteed prize pool of KRW 1.68 billion (~$1.2M), marking a grand debut.

The tournament will feature buy-ins ranging from KRW 300,000 (~$220) to KRW 30,000,000 (~$22,080) across various formats, from traditional NLH to PLO and other mixed games.

The RDPT Championship, with a buy-in of KRW 2,200,000 (~$1,620), will commence on July 30th with four Day 1 flights. Competitors will enjoy a deep structure, starting with 50,000 chips and 40-minute levels. From Day 2 to the Final Day, levels will increase to 60 minutes.

The top 15% of the field will begin to receive payouts.
